How lucky are we at the railway station to have the stunning Victorian canopy to cover and protect us from the worst of the elements . The temperature is at least 5-10 degrees higher than the temperature off the platform and the plant life truly flourishes . It does seem a little strange to have to water when the rain is making loud noises on the glass of the canopy .

Liz and GrahamAbout Us Graham and Liz own and run Dalmally Railway Station. The village of Dalmally is near Loch Awe in Scotland. Dalmally Station is on the Oban branch of Scotland’s picturesque West Highland Line; originally part of the Callender and Oban Railway. Dalmally’s setting amidst mountains, lochs and wildlife makes it a perfect destination. Photograph of Graham and Liz courtesy of Gary C. Brown. Used with permission. Archives
